RYA Powerboat Level 2 / ICC is a highly popular training course that is suitable for all levels of skill and experience. Courses taken with Devon Powerboating on coastal waters will have their Level 2 certificate “Coastal endorsed”. A Level 2 assessment is also the entry level for an International Certificate of Competence that is required for many European waters.

Course Aim: To provide the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver.

Duration: The training is conducted over 2 days.

Experience: No previous knowledge is required. The course is suitable from beginners through to those who are experienced at driving boats but wish to consolidate and formalise their skills. There is no need to have completed RYA Level 1 prior to undertaking Level 2.

Minimum Age: Students must be at least 12 years of age. However, 12 – 16 year olds will receive a Level 2 certificate which will be endorsed – The holder should only use powered craft under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Costs: Individual on course of 3 students £240,

         Dedicated 1 to 1 £450,

         Own boat with up to 3 students £350,

         Group booking for 3 people £595.
