Coastal Adventure

The Coastal Adventure is a 1 hour ride that takes you outside of Plymouth Breakwater to the open sea to view the beautiful local scenery from a different perspective. Dependent upon wind, sea and weather conditions the ride will either view the Mew Stone, Wembury and the River Yealm to the east or Rame Head , Kingsands & Cawsands Bay to the west.

Like the RIB Ride, the Coastal Adventure will start at the Mayflower Steps on the Barbican, you will cruise past the famous Hoe where Sir Francis Drake played bowls and around Drake's Island to leave the speed restricted area before blasting across the water to the Breakwater. The ride will then slow down to allow you to enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery with views as far as Looe in good visibility - do not forget your camera. The ride concludes with a further high speed blast back across the Sound that includes eye watering turns and exhilerating fun for all of the family.

The boat has all of the latest safety equipment and all passengers will be provided with, and required to wear a fully automatic lifejacket. A wind/rain proof jacket and soft shoes are recommended. The ride will be adjusted to suit the conditions and your adrenalin levels!

The 1 Hour Coastal Adventure costs just £20 for adults and £12 for those under 12
